1. About Mzansi Coach

Mzansi Coach (“the platform”) is a coaching tool for South African motor-retail dealership staff, operated by Shannon Loder. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms of Use.

2. What Mzansi Coach is — and is not

Mzansi Coach provides structured coaching guidance to help dealership staff handle common customer situations professionally. It is a starting point for professional responses — not a replacement for manager judgement or dealership policy.

The platform does not make commercial decisions on your behalf. Any coaching response that touches pricing, discounts, finance, trade-ins, warranties, delivery promises, complaints, or customer commitments must be confirmed with your manager before you act on it.

3. Your responsibilities

• Do not enter customer personal information. Never type customer names, ID numbers, phone numbers, email addresses, home addresses, vehicle registration numbers, VINs, finance details, or banking details into the platform. Describe situations anonymously.
• Confirm commercial decisions with your manager. Coaching responses are guidance only. You are responsible for confirming any pricing, discount, delivery promise, warranty claim, or finance commitment with your manager before communicating it to a customer.
• Use the platform for legitimate dealership coaching purposes only.
• Keep your account credentials secure and do not share your login with others.

4. Accuracy of coaching responses

Coaching responses are generated based on motor-retail experience and training material. They are designed to be helpful, professional starting points — not guaranteed-correct answers to every situation. Always exercise professional judgement. When in doubt, involve your manager.

5. Manager and dealership accounts

Managers and dealer principals who access team data do so under the condition that they use it only to support and develop their team — not for punitive monitoring of individual staff. Individual coaching sessions are private to the staff member. Managers see only anonymised, aggregated patterns and sessions that have been explicitly flagged for manager attention.

6. Acceptable use

You must not use Mzansi Coach to:

• Store, process, or transmit third-party personal information
• Circumvent dealership policy or manager authority
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy the platform
• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose

7. Intellectual property

All material on this platform — including the lessons, coaching prompts, readiness frameworks, scoring, text, images, video, and design — belongs to Mzansi Coach and is protected under the Copyright Act 98 of 1978.

“MzansiReady”™ and “Mzansi Coach”™, together with their logos, are trade marks of Mzansi Coach.

You may use this material for your own work use, or — where your access is sponsored by a dealership or partner — as the named sponsored user. You may not copy, download for redistribution, screen-record, resell, republish, or reproduce any part of it for any other person without our written permission.

The coaching guidance Mzansi Coach produces is for the subscribed user’s own work use. It may not be repackaged, resold, or published as a training product, course, or service.

Nothing on this platform gives you any ownership of our content or trade marks.

8. Your access is personal and not transferable

When you buy or are given access — whether you subscribe individually or your access is provided through a dealership or partner — that access is licensed to one named user. It is for that person only.

Access codes, logins, and accounts may not be shared, sold, or passed on. One login is for one person.

Dealerships and partners who buy access in bulk are buying one licensed seat per staff member. The content may not be copied, printed, or presented to staff outside the licensed accounts. If you want to give a whole branch or group access, contact us about a group licence.

We may suspend access where these terms are broken, without a refund.

9. Availability

We aim to keep the platform available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may carry out maintenance or updates that temporarily affect availability. We will communicate planned downtime where reasonably possible.

10. Limitation of liability

Mzansi Coach is a coaching assistance tool. We are not liable for business decisions made based on coaching responses, customer outcomes, or any loss arising from your use of the platform. You retain full responsibility for your professional conduct and for confirming any commercial commitment with your manager.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the platform after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
