Shannon Loder
Shannon Loder spent 30 years on the dealership floor — first as a sales executive, then manager, then Dealer Principal across Ford, Honda, and Hyundai franchises in South Africa and the UK. He held full P&L responsibility for operations of 60+ staff.
He is a multiple award winner across several franchises, with Dealer of the Year and brand recognition earned consistently throughout his career. He is a dealership and used car turnaround specialist. He holds accredited SAQA/MERSETA qualifications and moderation credentials. He worked at Sytner — the UK’s largest automotive retail group. He holds a BBA degree and IOSH accreditation.
He also watched deals get lost — not because the sales executive lacked talent or effort — but because of indecision at the wrong moment, a lack of confidence under pressure, or simply nobody having shown them what to say when it mattered. Not the textbook version. The version where the customer is standing in front of you, the manager is busy, and you have 30 seconds to either hold the deal or lose it.
